Searching a Document


Use the Find command to search for a specific word or phrase in the current document.

To search a document:

  1. From the Edit menu, choose Find.

  2. Type the word or phrase that you want to find in the Text to Find field.

    To find text with specific capitalization, select Match Case. To start searching from the top of the document, select Start From Top.

  3. Choose OK to start searching.

    If the search is successful, the first occurrence of the word or phrase will be selected.

  4. To search for the same word or phrase again, choose Find Again from the Edit menu.
